Guppy Falls deserved a post of it’s own. This is located in the Skaneateles Conservation Area. There is a kiost at the parking area, with large map, as well as you can pick up a paper trail map of the area.
There is two different trails to access the falls. We chose to take the streambed in to get to the bottom of the falls. The other trail leads you up a set of stairs and to the above overlook. This took us about 30 minutes to walk into the falls.
The first thing we noticed was the uncountable number of eggs in the streambed. We only seen one frog!
A few picks along the trail

To see the best view of the falls it is pretty important to hike the stream bed. We took the ridge trails and the views … sheltered by the leaves … were disappointing.
yes, we took the stream bed up. however had to be very careful of all the eggs we seen. I think I recall a couple of crossing back n forth over stream was quite mucky/muddy. but it was fun and rewarding.
